Stuff

Ok so it's almost the middle of December 2008. Holy shit first of all, where did this year go and, will I even miss it? Sure there are things I'll miss, but some things I'd rather not think of. Thirty Six Frames is up and running and I feel 2009 can only bring more images. Be creative every day and some one is bound to go crazy with crayons, or cameras.
Here is some stuff from Coney Island. Rumor has it developers are tearing down this place, it is a shame, a NY landmark.

Big Sur

A short peice on Big Sur California and the Central Coast. Thanks to Marina Makropoulos for her camera help and awesome adventure. The imagery is a span of the last 4 years of going to Big Sur and just taking a look around.

Projects, projects, projects!!

So I have not posted in a bit but things are busy over here in Brooklyn. The election piece is up and received over 100 hits in its first 12 hours online at http://www.ireport.com/people/36Frames
check it out! The audio definitely needed some improvement, but a success nonetheless. Now back to working on the Water Shed NY documentary, hoping to venture back to up-state NY in the next few weeks to film some more. Stay tuned for visuals coming soon. Also the 4Them project is still active. It is a research and gathering the material phase but very much alive and coming together. I have been editing photos an getting together stock b-roll. And something brand new just came up. Tanner Spendley, aka T-Spend will be venturing to the Big Apple in January then we will both be traveling to DC to cover the inauguration of president elect Barack Obama. A multi-platform piece will be produced by the both of us. So thats that. Three projects in the works that should keep Thirty Six Frames busy for the next few months. Check back often as projects near completion. And of course the daily shooting of NYC will always go down! Peace and love.

Election 2008

So tomorrow is the day of days in this country, a day that has been in the spotlight for the last 18 months, the last eight years if you ask some. Im not one to instruct on politics, all I ask for is the motivation to get out and vote. Voting is one the few civil liberties this country hands out for free anymore. Its something we can still do with out being spied on, well at least I like to think so. So no matter your political views. Lets just go out and vote for the simple fact that we can.

Good morning. It has been a while since the last little word session. Im really excited to be in the production of a few different projects that I see going places before the year is out. Thirty Six Frames will be partnering with NY Stills and Motion, aka. John Williams on a documentary about simply... water. (see more at watershedny.blogspot.com)
And a new project, but something brewing from a couple years back, a project with 4Them, est. by Joe Kenelty, his not for profit company that benefits people in need of every day essentials. A coast to coast look on the houseless people and families that struggle in a nation that tends to forget achieving food and shelter is a difficult task for many... and why it shouldn't be.
-Thanks, and be well.

Water Shed NY

Thirty Six Frames and NY Stills and Motion are in early production of a small documentary on watershed in New York State and how it along with other factors affect our drinking and fresh water systems. Pollution, human interaction, human neglect, drought, so on and so on are some of the many reasons for the disappearance and unsafe quality of water here in NY state and around the globe. We will focus on New York mainly, filming a great deal in the up-state region, more specifically the Mountains. Keep checking back for updates with webpages, photos and video samples to come. Thanks.
